The good: Good location for us but not near Down Town Nice clean rooms The bad: Rooms or rather the furniture have a youth hostel charms. There's only 2 parking spots for checkin in which is never enough, otherwise we just had to park on the street - also to unload our bags. Expensive parking next door is not connected to the hotel and directions inside the parking to the hotel seems to me like it's almost on purpose made very complicated. It was very hard to find the way back to the hotel. Also no information was given upon check in where to park and how to get back. That definitely has to be improved.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Baylor where a family member was having surgery. The hotel fell short of expectations. The bathroom’s lavatory water pressure was a trickle. The television did not work during the entire stay. We reported the lack of tv, and 1/2 of the nightly charge for ONE night was removed. The breakfast was poor quality. The parking garage was inconvenient and confusing for older members of our party (yes, it’s Dallas so parking is, what it is). The hotel seemed understaffed. The staff were polite enough but made no attempt to explain anything (how to get to parking, ice, etc.). With a few improvements all this could be fixed so that people needing to be with family at Baylor could get some much needed rest.

The beds are hard! The noise throughout the hotel rooms and hallways is so loud! The people at the front desk are great though. The rooms are spacious but not worth sleeping on the hard beds. Free breakfast in the morning is handy and the location is good, but not worth the hard beds and low water pressure.

The treatment I received from the sales department and the Director of Sales at Home2 Suites by Hilton Dallas Downtown at Baylor Scott & White. My reservation for 3.1.2024 was declined due to insufficient funds (really it was because the hotel has a high fraud rate), despite the fact that today is 2.15.24 and the stay is over two weeks away. The sales representative I spoke to, Jordan, was unhelpful and rude, and the woman who identified herself as the Director of Sales, using the alias Palama Jones, was equally unprofessional. During my initial call, I explained that, as an educator, I would not be able to make the payment at that time. However, instead of offering any alternatives, the woman simply stated that my reservation would be canceled. She then hung up on me without providing her first and last name, despite my repeated requests. Subsequent attempts to rectify the situation were met with further rudeness and profanity, which is completely unacceptable. As a member of the Hilton family, I expected to be treated with respect and professionalism. Instead, I was treated like trash. This is not the level of customer service that I expect from Hilton, and it has left me seriously considering canceling my wedding at this location. Furthermore, the woman mentioned that she would contact the cheer competition and inform them of the cancellation of my reservation. I will also inform the partner (TTS) about this incident. It was evident to me that she lacked experience, as the complaint should not have been directed to the cheer competition. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action. I also request that you review the calls from the sales department and provide me with the name of the woman who identified herself as Palama Jones. I expect a prompt response to this complaint and a resolution to the issues I have raise.

I am an engineering manager who travels constantly. This was one of the worst experiences I've had in 15 years of travel. Disgusting premises. Trash surrounds the pool. Cigarette buts at every entrance. Sweat was all over the gym equipment with salt stains to match. There is a smell of mold throughout the building. There was a thick trail of human blood from the parking area toward the hotel to which I informed the front desk of 5 different times only to be told they had reported it. Ineffective cleaning staff that completely ignore the cleaning schedule and move your personal property around with no regard for fragile items. Dirty dishes. Empty shampoo and body wash dispensers took 4 days to refill. Management is severely unprofessional and makes accusations/gossips about customers to fellow employees within earshot of customers. I HIGHLY DISCOURAGE RISKING YOUR PEACE OF MIND BY STAYING AT THIS OUTDATED TRASH HEAP. You will quickly find out how much the photos do not represent the truth.
